The work includes, at first, the analysis of the conditions of accesibility of 5 buildings belonging to Social Housing Agency of Community of Madrid (506 homes in total). The compliance with application rules is reviewed and the real needs of the neighbors are detected.
The current status is shown in data sheets both for the exterior urbanization and for the common areas and the interior of the houses. The information at preliminar design level is also orgnized in data sheets, containing specific actions to be carried out, with its associated costs.
The study is an starting point for the Agency, in order to offer the works and the final projects to improve accesibility, wich will certainly contribute to making life easier for many people.
