SUMA-USC participated in this China-Europe SME forum staged by the Zhongde Metal group. The city of Jieyang and the Zhongde Metal group are immersed in the process of transforming the city to enhance its value added and make it more sustainable.
In China, the urbanisation rate is increasing apace, giving rise to a number of problems including high motorisation rates, high pollution levels and ineffective public transport. Decision making on pedestrian mobility issues has major financial, social and environmental implications and is of transcendental importance to the strategic vision for the city.
