Pamplona 30 City Plan is drawn up in order to determine progressive application of speed limitation to 30 Km/h in different streets and roads of the city. Its objective is a new urban model wich prioritize sustainable means of transport and strengthens pedestrian spaces.
On the one hand, the Plan establishes a road hierarchy: main and secondary streets. Taking into account also the number of lanes per traffic direction, the location of shoools and the potentially “quiet areas”, a proposal of new speeds is performed.
The Plan includes a catalog of measures, both for señalization and speed reductions on roads and intersections and for control and sanctions.
