Peatónito

Long Live the Pedestrian Revolution!

SUMA-USC with Peatónito

Mexico City’s population is close to 9,000,000 inhabitants, and the number of vehicles is on the rise. Peatónito is the superhero of pedestrians; he fights to maintain hierarchies on the street, giving first priority over available spaces to pedestrians, followed by cyclists, public transport, freight transport and, last of all, cars. Peatónito fights for the right to walk, he fights for a human city.

Joining forces in aid of pedestrians, the members of the SUMA-USC team toured the streets of Vienna together with the famous Mexican street activist Peatónito, with whom we shared experiences and pledged to support his efforts.
